ABOUT

Washington has hundreds of lobbying shops. None of them work for you.

The Array Group exists because the policy infrastructure of American AI was being written entirely by the incumbents it benefits. We are the counterweight — a specialized firm built to make sure the open stack has a permanent, technically fluent voice on the Hill, at the agencies, and in the briefings that shape the next decade of federal AI policy.

THESIS

The next generation of strategic American technology is being built on open weights, distributed compute, and software that anyone can fork. Policy that assumes a closed, centralized stack will quietly foreclose the open one — usually without anyone in the room noticing until it's too late.

We are in the room. We bring the founders, the funds, and the infrastructure providers with us.

HOW WE WORK

01

Specialized, not generalist

We do one thing: defend the open-weights, decentralized compute, and permissionless innovation stack. We do not represent closed-API incumbents — ever. That clarity makes our coalitions credible and our analysis sharp.

02

Coalition-first economics

Our model pools the policy budgets of mid-market founders and the funds backing them into a single, well-staffed shop. Individually, our clients can't afford a permanent K Street presence. Together, they get one.

03

Technically fluent by default

Every memo we file, every hearing we prep for, every comment letter we draft is read first by someone who can explain quantization, inference economics, and model provenance without a glossary.
